Mrs. Melissa is a co-teacher in the Caterpillar class. She is super excited to be working with our littlest Sprouts! She was born and raised in St Petersburg, Florida and is the oldest of 6 children. Melissa moved to SW Florida in 2006, and has worked in many different fields, however, she has always wanted to work with kids and felt that was where she belonged. When she became a nanny, she realized working with children was what she really wanted to do and here she is three years later! She has been employed with Sprout since March of 2021. Melissa absolutely loves her work family and loves coming in every morning to the sweet smiling faces of the little ones in her class. Everyday she watches them meet new milestones whether individually, or as a group & watching them learn and grow is what makes it all worth it. The snuggles & hugs are an extra bonus! When Melissa is not at work, she is at home with her husband, Joey and their two amazing daughters Ruthie & Reba. They enjoy being outside doing projects around the home, going on walks with their Beagle named “Brad”, visiting local parks and going to the splash pads.
